The website of "Provincia di Campobasso"
The new website for the “Molisani nel Mondo” is a project born of the Provincia di Campobasso, along with the scientific collaboration of the University of Molise. The idea of this great new “bridge” which links the region of Molise to the thousand of the natives of Molise living in other countries in the world was promoted by Giuseppe Chiappini, the Assessor responsabile for “I Molisani nel Mondo”, and derives not only from the knowledge that natives of Molise living abroad constitute an important resource for the promotion and development of the cultural, environmental and productive patrimony of the region, but also from the assertion that the new generations who by this time are totally integrated into foreign countries, are showing an ever increasing desire to go back to their roots more

Mmmmh ….. how can you resist when confronted with such delight! Sausages, cheeses, vegetables, traditional dishes and recipes you can prepare at home! Important events in which you can try them out with your relatives and friends in a party – like or religious atmosphere, (places where you can meet them whenever you feel like it) and for fans, news about where you could go to do exercises so as not to feel guilty for being greedy………. Newspapers and magazines on show as you have never seen them before: their history from birth to present day.more

Here you can find some works of old and young writers who wanted to make their mark in Molise with a writing to be forever on the minds of those who want to see this Region with their own eyes. Through books and historic documents you can decide your own itinerary; thanks to some archives and libraries you will know where these treasures are. Then, if you want to visit places where you can find evidence of life and customs belonging to past generations and cultures, you can do so by going to visit Museums and ArtGalleries
